RiskCheck ("the app," "we," "us") helps you understand whether a food, skincare, or supplement product is likely to suit you personally, by scanning its ingredient label and comparing it against your dietary preferences, allergies, health conditions, and goals. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and your choices. RiskCheck is intended for general informational purposes only and does not provide medical advice — always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
RiskCheck does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name or email address to use the app. Instead, the app generates a random, anonymous identifier on your device the first time you open it. This identifier — not your name or email — is what ties your data together in our systems.
We do not collect your name, email address, or precise location, and we do not require sign-in with any third-party account.
To analyze scans against your personal profile, save your history, send notifications you've opted into, and maintain the app. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Photos and relevant profile data are sent to third-party AI providers (OpenAI and/or Google) to generate your analysis. Our backend is Convex, which stores your data securely on our behalf. We do not share data with data brokers or advertisers.
If RiskCheck offers paid features later, purchases are processed by the Apple/Google app stores directly — we never see your card details.
Data is tied to your device's anonymous ID. Uninstalling the app disconnects you from it permanently. To request deletion sooner, contact [email protected].
